PLM: Design Overview - Tech Design Responsibility
The tech design related fields in Design Overview can be found together under two section named "To be filled out by Tech Design." These fields are owned by the Teach Design Team. Depending on the field, they are updated pre and post market, or both. The fields "Size Range" and "Allowed Sizes" are managed throughout the life cycle of design. A size range and allowed sizes are imperative in order to generate measurements and create/send out development. Additionally, both size range & allowed sizes must be filled out BEFORE initial design adoption from PLM to Exenta. During/ post market, should sales / production need size range / allowed size updates to include other sizes for any styles the Tech Design team will update in PLM. (Exenta will be managed by a separate team.) The field "Reference Design/ Style/ Pattern No." acts as useful place to hold explicit references that populate on tech packs. The data from the field "Lining (Y/N)" is used downstream by the Merchandising Team to generate the Seasonal Product Copy File. Once style reaches production, please ensure this field is filled out correctly. The data from the field "Size Guidance" is used downstream by the Merchandising Team. Upon TOP approval, the Tech Design team is responsible for ensuring this field is filled out correctly.

If there is name that is not yet on the Designer, Tech Designer, Pattern Maker, or Product Developer list follow instructions on linked SOP in order to add the name to the list. https://veronicabeard.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/23000119982
