PLM: Change Log - What is a Change Log in PLM?
A change log is a tool that exist through out PLM. This tool allows a user to access historical data about changes made in PLM: - Who made the change. - When the change was made. - What information was changed from and to. Below figure illustrates how to read the information found on a change log. Some areas where change logs are available are: - Colors - Color Palettes - Overview Section - Colors Section - Materials - Overview Section - Colors Section - Images - Designs - Overview Section - Colors Section - BOMs (Within a BOM) - Measurements (Within a Measurement) - BOM Templates - Measurement Templates

PLM: Change Log - How to Access a Change Log in PLM
To access a change log in PLM: 1. First go to the section you like to see the change log for. For example, a material profile: 2. You will then see the change log icon () at the top right of the page. Click this button. 3. You will then be brought to the change log, where you can view historical data. To navigate out of this view, click into any other section of the profile. (For example, click overview and you will be brought back to the overview page.)
