PLM SOPs: Set Up (Section)

PLM: Set Up > Fields > Create New: Material Content
If a material content does not yet exist in PLM, follow below steps to create new "Material Content." Before Beginning: Ensure the material content DOES NOT YET EXIST IN PLM. Steps to take: Once you have checked to ensure the material content DOES NOT exist in PLM, follow below steps. 1. Click: Set Up 2. Click: Fields 3. Once in the "All Fields" section of PLM, utilize the search bar to help locate the field named "Material Content." Then click the field named "Material Content." 4. Once you click "Material Content" you will be brought to the Material Content List page. At this point, utilize the search bar to check once more if the material content you need exists. *If the value of the material content is same as what you are planning on adding in, use what is there. E.g. If the material content you need is 100% COTTON, do not add in another option that reads 100% COTTON. Instead, utilize existing option. It is ok that the code is shared. 5. Next, click "New Value" button at top right of page. 6. Below bar will then slide out from the right side of the page. At this point fill out as below. Ensure that: You type in ALL CAPS That the "value" or content sum equals 100 There are no additional punctuation marks The FIBER NAME used is not abbreviated or a "nickname," and is approved to be used. "Default" is set to NO. The "code" must be unique. The "code" does not exceed 10 characters. The "value" does not exceed 500 characters. 7. Click submit. Congratulations, you have successfully created a new Material Content that can now be utilized to complete material profiles.

PLM: Set Up > Partners > Create New
If a Partner does not yet exist in PLM, follow below steps to create new "Partner." Before Beginning: Ensure the Partner DOES NOT YET EXIST IN PLM or Exenta. If the Partner exists in PLM, then ensure the partner also exists in Exenta (partner code must match between systems.) If the Partner exists in Exenta, then follow below steps to add Partner into PLM (partner code must match between systems.) If the Partner does not exist in PLM or Exenta, then follow below steps to add Partner into PLM and then add Partner into Exenta (partner code must match between systems.) Steps to take: Once you have checked to ensure the Partner DOES NOT exist in PLM, follow below steps. 1. Click: Set Up 2. Click: Partners 3. You will be brought to the Partners List page. At this point, utilize the filter to check once more if the Partner you need exists. 4. Next, click "New Partner" button at top right of page. 5. You will then be brought to below page At this point, fill out the form below. Ensure that: Partner name & code are typed out in ALL CAPS That the "partner code" is unique, and not the same as any other partner code. The currency code selected is accurate. The country is where the physical partner is located. (This is important as downstream Partner Country will be used as a Design's COO for designs associated with this Partner.) The balance of information is accurate. "Active" is set to YES. 7. Click create. 8. Once you click create, click into the Partner profile you have just created. Then click the section "Attachments." 9. You will then be brought to the "Attachments" section of the Partner profile. Here, please save the completed "Partner Onboarding Documents" that were filled out when gathering partner related information. You can save these documents here by: 1. Click "Upload" 2. You can then drop your file(s) directly onto pop up screen, or select files from your computer. Once files are selected, click "Upload." 3. Your files will then be saved in the attachment section of the Partner profile. Congratulations, you have successfully created a new Partner in PLM that can now be utilized to complete design & material profiles. ***Ensure that the same Partner exists in Exenta.

PLM: Set Up > Fields > Create New: Sweater Indicators
If a drop down option needs to be added to any of the "Sweater Indicator" fields found on a design overview, follow below steps to create new available options: Before Beginning: Ensure the option DOES NOT YET EXIST IN PLM. Steps to take: Once you have checked to ensure the material content DOES NOT exist in PLM, follow below steps. 1. Click: Set Up 2. Click: Fields 3. Once in the "All Fields" section of PLM, utilize the search bar to help locate the field named you would like to add an option to. "Sweater Indicator" fields are: Stitch Gauge Ends Tension Body Plated W. Lycra Lycra Ends Then click the field you have searched for. For example, see below: 4. Once you click the field name you will be brought to the Field List page. At this point, utilize the search bar to check once more if the material content you need exists. 5. Next, click "New Value" button at top right of page. 6. Below bar will then slide out from the right side of the page. At this point fill out as below. Ensure that: You type in ALL CAPS "Default" is set to NO. You may leave the "code" blank. 7. Click submit. Congratulations, you have successfully created a new value that can now be utilized to update & complete design overview profiles.
