PLM: Color Palette - Color Palette Library
Within PLM, there is a Color Palette Library. To access the Color Palette Library, click the "" icon. From there, below imaged list will slide out. Click "Palettes." You will then be brought to the Color Palette Library.

PLM: Color Palette - Categories of Color Palettes
CATEGORIES OF COLOR PALETTES: 1. Shared Seasonal Palettes Departments: RTW, VBJS, and VBA 1 Shared Seasonal Palette per Delivery (Season Code) 2. PLM: Color Palette - Ownership & Management
There are 4 categories of Color Palettes to be in PLM. For a Color Palette to be added into PLM, or for a color to be added to or removed from a Color Palette in PLM, best practice is as follows. CATEGORIES OF COLOR PALETTES: 1. Shared Seasonal Palettes 2. Shared Seasonal Palettes for Exclusives 3. Seasonal Collection Wash Palette 4. Shared Seasonal Palettes (Handbags + SLGs) COLOR PALETTE CREATION: Who creates the palette? 1. Shared Seasonal Palettes: Colorist 2. Shared Seasonal Palettes for Exclusives: Colorist 3. Seasonal Collection Wash Palette: Denim Product Development Team 4. Shared Seasonal Palettes (Handbags + SLGs): Handbag Team COLOR PALETTE COLOR MANAGEMENT: Who adds colors to & removes colors from the palette? 1. Shared Seasonal Palettes: Color Type: WASH (DENIM): Denim Product Development Team SOLID & MELANGE: Colorist PATTERN/ NOVEL: Colorist PRINT: Colorist 2. RM Team (Dani): If color is specifically a sweater garment color (knit down.) Sweater Team (Dana): If color is from a yarn book. (If needed, RM Team (Dani) to add to Color Palette.

PLM: Color Palette - How to Create a Color Palette
Please follow below steps in order to create a Color Palette in PLM. Steps to take: 1. Once in the Color Palette Library, click "New Color Palette". 2. You will then be brought to below page where you can fill in appropriate information, depending on the type/ category of Color Palette you are creating. 3. Fill in the information. For "Shared Seasonal Palette," there is 1 per Season (Delivery.) When creating, please follow below: NAME: Follow logic in separate SOP. SEASON: Select from list DEPARTMENT: Do not select a departments here, as this palette will be shared between RTW & VBJS ACTIVE: Keep this as "Yes." For "Shared Seasonal Palette for Exclusives," there is 1 per Season (Delivery.) When creating, please follow below: NAME: Follow logic in separate SOP. SEASON: Select from list DEPARTMENT: Do not select a departments here, as this palette will be shared between RTW & VBJS ACTIVE: Keep this as "Yes." For "Seasonal Collection Wash Palettes," there is 1 per Season Collection (Multiple Deliveries. E.g. Fall'24 [2408/2409/2410]) When creating, please follow below: NAME: Follow logic in separate SOP. SEASON: Do not select a season here, as this palette will be shared between multiple Seasons (deliveries.) DEPARTMENT: Select Veronica Beard Jeans as this palette will only be used for VBJ designs. ACTIVE: Keep this as "Yes." For "Shared Seasonal Palette," there is 1 per Season (Delivery.) When creating, please follow below: NAME: Follow logic in separate SOP. SEASON: Select from list DEPARTMENT: Do not select a departments here, as this palette will be shared between VBH & VBSLGs ACTIVE: Keep this as "Yes." 4. Once information is filled out, select "Create & Edit": Then click "Save & Close." You will then be brought to below page. From here you can navigate to the "Colors" tab of the Color Palette, which is where you will be able to add & remove colors.

PLM: Color Palette - How to Add a Color to a Color Palette
Once you have created a Color Palette in PLM, you will need to add colors to the palette. Please follow below steps in order to add colors to a Color Palette in PLM. Steps to take: 1. From the Color Palette Overview page, navigate to the "Colors" section of the palette. 2. From the Colors Section, click "Add Color." When you click this you will be prompted to select either "New Color" or "Use Existing Color." Click "Use Existing Color." 3. When you click "Use Existing Color," the below imaged search bar will slide out. At this point, please search to see if the color you would like to add to the palette exists in PLM already. Please search by typing the "Color Service Number" into the area that says "Search term." After doing that, click the "" to apply the filter. If you find the color exists in PLM, "check it off" and click "Attach." ***If you do not find the color exists in PLM, please take note to return back to this color, and move on to the next color. (Repeating steps above.) 4. Once you click "Attach" you will be brought to below page where you can see your color(s) that have been added to the palette.

PLM: Color Palette - How to Remove a Color from a Color Palette
Once you have created a Color Palette in PLM and added colors, you may need to remove colors from the palette. Please follow below steps in order to remove colors from a Color Palette in PLM. Steps to take: 1. From the Color Palette Overview page, navigate to the "Colors" section of the palette. 2. From the Colors Section, identify which color you would like to remove from the palette. Click the vertical 3x dot button "" of the color you wish to remove from palette. When you click this you will be prompted to select "Remove." Click "Remove." 3. When you click this, you will be prompted with below question. Click "Ok." 4. After "Ok" is clicked, the webpage will refresh and you will be brought back to the "Colors" section of the color palette where you will see changes made reflected. You have successfully removed a color from a color palette.

PLM: Color Palette - How to Use the "Seasonal Color Notes" Tool on a Color Palette
Within a color palette, there is a column on the "colors" section, this column is called "Seasonal Color Notes." The intention of this tool is to capture notes about colors that relate specifically to the palette. See below for examples: Close up below:
